Ahmedabad: Anant National University recently released a policy compendium ‘An Anthology of Policies in India 2.0’, prepared by the Centre for Public Policy Research and Design (CPRD). Mr Ajay Piramal, President, Anant National University, launched the compendium in the presence of Dr Sanjeev Vidyarthi, Provost, Anant National University; Dr Gauri Bharat, Professor and Dean, School of Architecture; Prof Jasmine Gohil, Professor and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and the core members of CPRD.
This compendium of government policies is built on the core idea that every policy problem is also a design problem. By applying the principles of design thinking to analyse and create policies, the initiative can drive more empathetic and inclusive outcomes.
Bringing together 18 key policies, this compendium aims to serve as a valuable resource for students and educators, providing the policy context for diverse topics. From urban development to textiles, intellectual property to design, this set of policies holds significant relevance for current and future design professionals. These policies will not only influence their work but can also pivot and create more opportunities through them.
With this release, Anant National University reaffirms its commitment to nurturing future-ready professionals equipped with a policy lens to address contemporary challenges and design innovative solutions for India and the world.
